Join a gathering of past and future delegates of the AICC Women Leaders Trade Missions, catch up over drinks and canapés, and join a tour the recently opened Garvan-Weizmann Centre for Cellular Genomics.
This collaboration between the Garvan Institute and Israel’s renowned Weizmann Institute of Science was formalised on an AICC trade mission led by former Premier Mike Baird in 2016. The Centre officially opened in August 2017, establishing Australia’s only multi-disciplinary centre for cellular genomics. The Centre undertakes research into cancer, immune diseases, metabolic disorders, and other medical conditions, through joint research programs, staff and student exchanges, and shared efforts in science communication and education.
Please confirm your attendance by replying to this email, and advising any special dietary requirements.
I hope you can join us for this reunion and opportunity to learn about advances on the frontiers of medical research.
